And I've just been playing it. Very good it was as well, if obviously in the early stages. Was very laggy and a bit mad.

Its out though, and its a laugh. I'm sure we can all get together for some Hexus based shoot-a-thons.

Funny moment - I'm standing in a corner, can't move as I'm having a drink, so I can only move the mouse, and this other bloke is caining me with the machine gun, I'm on about 10 health, and someone else runs in, gets caught in the stream of bullets plowing into me and dies, dropping the crossbow, I pick it up and fire it at the bloke who's been shooting me for the last 15 seconds, sending the bolt through his head and killing him. He must have been gutted.

Anyway, its out, its a laugh, but needs some work. Get playing and we'll get together for some games, get a server going, and it will be larrrrvly.[/annoying cockney]

Probably best we add each other to the in-game friends thingy so we know who is online or whatever.

cant wait to see what the modders come out with using that sdk,
they already had some nice mods using just spawns on maps and save games.....

hmm - this is odd... since downloading latest updates - can't load any games... hl2 seems to crash cleanly - it saying preparing to launch (whatever game I choose) whjich disappears - no error logs are being created either.

lol... the update was posted by valve about 15 mins after I submitted a fault log... and after two reboots

got a one word response from valve support (pretty good considering it must have been about midnight for them) ... "fixed"

amusingly - they've now un-updated it - presumably the update is now across the board.

honest guv - I'm not making this up! hmmm... now my fault report is missing from their support site - but I've still got a copy in my inbox! vindicated! I'm not imagining things! they do cover their tracks well!

MY clan leader stuck a public HL2DM server up last night and within 5 minutes it was full... total chaos but the fun part is CARS AND GRAVITY GUN.
