Pro Evolution Soccer 4 Questions

Hello, I have got Pro Evolution Soccer 4 and am kinda stuck. On level 2 starts the game is too easy but on level 3 it is waaaaaay to hard. Is there anyway to mix it imbettween as on level 2 I just run round them but on level 3 they do it to me.

Second question: I don't think that this is warez or whatever that is but is there some sort of patch to get to change names and kits? I know there was one for Pro Evolution Soccer 3 but I haven't seen on for PES4.

Thirdly and lastly I get this line going horizontally across the screen, its kinda like and inteference line like you get on a TV. It moves between the middle horizontal of the screen. I have a 9800Pro, L1710B (17" TFT, 16ms) and the resolution set at 1280 x 1024 as I think that that is what is concerned, by the way the desktop resolution is 1280 x 1024.

Hello Alex,

I've got PES4 and have updated it to v1.10, apparently improves online play. I'll have to give you a game one time??

Anyway.... time for some links. There is a patch to change to kits and names and also to update the transfers. I think it's called "Wolf's update patch" or something similar. I havent installed it myself, so can't say if it's any good or not.

As for the stars, there is a big gap inbetween 2 and 3 stars, but I think if you go through the training and complete the majority of it, then you should beat 3 stars easily. The art to this game is to pass it around, look for the early ball and move forward, get a cross into the box or play a through ball.

It is tough, but stick by it...

The Wolf update patch is called "The Wolf Furry Evolution Patch" and I think is upto about v2.0.

Thanks for the replies, what is the sort of average of levels (3 star) I wouldnt play against myself as I am really not very good (End the game with usually 8 players) You all use PS2 pads? Mine has been ordered with an adapter and it should be coming tomorrow

They are rar'd into 5 parts I think. So you'll need WinRAR to 'un-rar' them. Make sure they are all in the same directory and the previous .rar file should look for the next file etc...

I use a PS2 pad, with an adapter from play.com. Works a treat 8 players!! Try holding down X or square to attract players to the ball instead of sliding in all the time

Yup. about 500mb for the full patch unfortunately.

One of the reasons I havent downloaded it.
