Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon - The game was absolutely loopy, and I loved it. It can't beat Goldeneye though.

zelda...now THATs a game worth playing. I hear they're thinking of a new gamecube release in similar style (i.e. not cell-shading like the previous one) but much better graphics and smoother surfaces etc. first looks are awesome, I'll try and dig out a bit more on it.

Did you hear about that guy who used a mod chip on his PC to put GoldenEye on it?

Well, he was looking through the game code etc, and found some interesting things. Anyone remember that if you put a certain cheat code in, you could select LOADS of peeps in multiplayer, like weird guys in tuxedos, and more importantly, Shaun Connery, Roger Moore etc... Well, when you selected them to play, nothing happened. RareWare said it was for copyright reasons that they had to remove them at the last minute.

Well, they didn't! This modding guy found the 3D Model and skins of them, still buried within the code! Obviously RareWare couldn't be bothered to completely remove it! So he now plays the game with Shaun Connery instead of Pierce.

2 other guys did something similar with 'Banjo & Kazooie' and unlocked the notorious 'Ice Key' which was in that snowy level. Also doors in other levels were opened.

Basically, when you got the Ice Key, it showed up in a 'special inventory'. Thats it.
When you go through the doors (like the one in the desert level, and the one on the little volcano island in the distance on the pirate level), you'd go into a stylized room, and they'd be an egg. I'm sorry, I mean.. Special Egg..... Well, it turned out they were teasers for the sequal 'Banjo & Kazooie 2'. Interesting eh?

Also, it makes me look like a prat for spending day upon days in my infant years, trying to bash my way through the ice wall to get that bloody key...

IMHO Bomberman 64 sucked. Diddy Kong was ace, and I completed it fully - HOW BLOODY HARD WAS THAT FOR A KIDS GAME?!?! But didn't match Mario Kart 64. The lack if randomised weapons was a great idea, but it took the tension and excitement out of the multiplayer/

V8 rocks. I still have it now.

Best N64 games which were forgotten:
    ISS 64.
    Turok 2.
    Body Harvest.

Anybody remember the last level of BomberMan 64? With the incredibley complex level going through the electric castle?

Did anybody ever get through to the Rainbow World? You got that if you collected all the gold cards.

Oh, and you remember? "You wanna fight me? FIGHT ME"

turok 2 was unplayably bad compared to turok 1!

True, I liked the way it worked though. I got it when I was about 10, and I got completely muddled up using it... I never got past the 1st major area... It was bloody strange.

I remmeber spending 10 minutes swimming in the water by the wreck at the very start to see what was there.

Surprisingly for a Nintendo freak, I never played Perfect Dark. When that came out, I was onto other things.

GoldenEye was good for its time, but I replayed it a few weeks back, and it was shocking. But I can't hold that against it, it was revolutionary for its time.

Anyone remember 'The Dam' paintbrush cheat?
