    Gonna be harsh now.....

X Box if you want a Hard Disk in your console to save Music onto, and then play in your games

Cube if you want more FUN....more Console than PC. And pls dont tell me how powerfull the X Box is, cos it is chalk and cheese.....the Cube has a tiny amount of system memory running at a zillion thingy bobs per milli thing You get it? They are different.......

The Cube is for GAMING in the truest sense...real colourful, console-feel, pick-up and play, lightning fast load times, fun box. The controller is probably the best in the market. And the games use it fantastically.

However, the X Box is literally a PC in a box....a big box It has a more "grown up" feel cos its so damn big and not very......consoley ?

I have a PC....so a Game Cube was the only way to go......Luigis Mansion has depth that I never dreamed of......Star Wars Rogue Squadron is fanstastic.....

My friends X Box is truly great too....but if you have a PC...why bother?

By the way...Cube supports Dolby Pro Logic 2.....not quite as good as 5.1 but damn fine anyway....good surround sound

Well said Zak, I think that the GC is the best bargain, for all the criticisms (sp?) levelled at it I believe that it has a good range of fun and serious games and is by far the easiest for people to pick up and play.

game cube seems to be aimed more at younger kids ( no offense to all of you gamecube owners ). Xbox is a all around better choice... you dont need a memory card you can download music to it and listen to it rather then the in game music in all most all of the games and the graphics are WAY BETTER then gamecube or playstation 2! i have owned 2 xbox's ( 1 broke which was my fault ) and i love it! the new xbox isnt gonna come out for a while! microsoft just was to revise it to make it less like a pc so people will stop hacking them and modding them.

Quite honestly i would have them all if i could afford it. This is a never ending debate. All machines have their pros and cons and at the end of the day it comes down to preference. Wat games you fancy at the time, i wanted gt3 and mgs2 so i got ps2. Now i have my rig up and running im gona wait till hl2 and doom3 then get me a card to play those. I have very nearly bought an xbox fro halo alone though
