I thought that game was absolutely dire, I mean really really bad. Fallout/Fallout 2 are the best RPG's of all time.

I can't see what makes it a tech demo, it's just video, same as the beginning of the original.

Re: Possible PS3 Full Remake of Final Fantasy 7.

Well since im a biggggggg FF7 I wrote to Sony on behalf of many people and said to them are they making a remake of it and heres there reply : Thank you for contacting SQUARE ENIX Customer Support,

We hope this letter answers your questions.

Our parent company, SQUARE ENIX of Japan, has no current plans to
create a sequel or remake to that particular title at this time. This is
not to say that it will never happen, it's just that their development
teams are currently focusing on numerous other projects. Your feedback
will be forwarded to our development teams.

We hope this information has been of assistance.

    Thanks,

I was a little diaspointed but theres still a possibility , its not to say it will never happen!

Wow. I posted this before the Cambrian explosion.

Annoyingly Square have messed around, sort of flirting with the subject, bringing out games connected with FF7 that no-one really wants to play, but not bothering with a full remake which everyone in the world wants to play.

    rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish.

Well you have to think as well that there are so many FF7 fanatics that, remake it well and people will love you forever or remake it and get something even a tiny bit wrong and out come the death threats...

Re: Possible PS3 Full Remake of Final Fantasy 7.

Ug, FF7 is nowhere near the best FF, let alone the RPG. A 3-D remake of FFVI would be a lot cooler (and I think more deserving). Oh well...

Re: Possible PS3 Full Remake of Final Fantasy 7.

Its the most critically acclaimed of the series though, and a lot (most?) peeps would say FFVII is the best of the series, and indeed the best RPG ev0r, me included.

Its not that hard either, tart the eye candy up a bit, leave the story well alone, bring the controls into the 21st century, just like they did with RE:Make and the jobs a good 'un. We'd be pwnting Sepiroth in glorious brand-new-o-vision before you could say THEMS MAKO EYES!!1!1!

    Ah well.

I'm with you on this one Stewart, been waiting to here something on this for soooo long! They'd make such a killing they MUST be making it, surely. I can't really see how it's possible to make a balls up of it, Pretty much everyone just wants shiny new graphics, and they seem to have that nailed in the old trailer! No need to change anything else.

Wether I could possibly devote myself enough again to get three of each master materia is another thing...

I missed this thread the first time round, I really dont venture into Hexus.gaming enough . . . . .

So has there been any actual news/annoncements or just the trailers been used to tease?

If this were to ever happen, it would be immense! I LOVED FF7!
