Ranked servers in BF2.

Just started playing BF2 today and I really like it Only bad thing I have noticed so far is that the ranked servers don't always update your stats.

I was just playing on one and got 3 awards, but after I left the game to go and look at the stats nothing had been updated, no kills or nout. I only play on ranked servers.

Does everyone have this problem? is it a known issue at the moment with the game, it's such a cool feature with the updating of you char and unlocking items and stuff. Just hope it works a little better in the future.

It's just a delay, it'll update later. Allow about 4 hours max before really starting to worry where your progress has gone

its really getting on my nerves, i forgive most tk's and people just dont want to repay the favour. ive unlocked the G3C now, which is very accurate. sa80 next me thinks.

You'll need 11,000 points to get to the next rank (corporal) and next unlock.

ah thats made me happier. Iv played on 2 servers so far, 1 ranked that i was on for about 3hours and the gsv server for prob just under 3hours and all my stats still say 0. both times tho iv not left the server. a msg suddenly apears saying connection problems. then im droped back to the server selection screen.

yeah its just the stat delay, its normally about 5 mins but can range to up to 24 hrs according to ea, depending how busy the servers are.

It wasnt delayed, i played on another ranked server for alittle bit and re-won afew of the awards and the stats have updated. It looks like since i didnt leave the server but my connection dropped it, the stats werent 'sent it' to be added to my account. never mind tho...

I find it hard just getting on a blooming ranked server - they're always full

After every map change the stats are 'sent' to where-ever they go. Then depending on the load due to time, amount of data, players playing etc will update the stats. So it could take quite a while for your stats to appear if there is a lot of load on the stats server.

Not always true- I won a pistol combat medal about 10 days ago, and it never arrived!
