tenner says EA would make the Half-Life 2 film now that they have distribution rights......STUPID EA! stick to making low quality sports games

Noticed it has the Rock in it, looks just like Res Evil I personally think. Doom is one of those games that is hard to turn into a movie, not a great deal they can do with it.

They should have done the portal thing rather than experimentation.

As a film "based" on Doom it looks very weak, but as something to pass a couple of hours with your brain turned off, it definately fits the bill.

It looks like they've tried to merge Resident Evil and Aliens together, flung in some well known high(ish) profile "actors" and thrown money at it in the Sspecial effects department.

Doom it isn't, but a box office hit I reckon it will be.

I just like the last frame in that one. Gabe and Tycho are geniuses.

Yeah, I love that site, they never fail to make me laugh (even if it is in a long-winded and overly-wordy way.)

I don't quite get everyone's fascination with the Cardboad Tube Samurai though......perhaps I'm not hardcore enough.

CTS is very odd, in another comic, i think its LG they took the piss, whipped out a normal sword and killed him.

But, they did sell 500+ limited prints in 30mins off TG so somethin must be good. They sold 250 of them at ComiCon too.

    Aye. Stupid EA.

PS: Doom will make it on my rent list, but I'll never give them the satisfaction in the theatre.

I can say that not many great movies have come from video games, I think overall it will have a weak plot but OK graphics. Still it looks a littlle cheezy.
