My only question is why do you care if people know you are watching a movie? Its not like it tells people you when are watching your midget porn DVD or browsing your collection of photos of sailors.
How much more information is being transfered that isn't so easily visible?
Its an MS product, as far as there concerned if ur not doing anything wrong why hide it? lol..
Even MSN does it altho u can turn it off...

Of course you can just logout.
The console logs you in as standard though - you don't want to have to sign out everytime you want to do something.
Defeats the point of the whole online stuff tho.
If it was just your mates who could see what you where doing then thats fine..

Yep, has long as its just your mates who can optain info on you, thats acceptable..
Well since you have to confirm someone adding you to their friends list and only friends would have access to this info I couldnt care less...
Its just like MSN Messenger telling people what you are listening to / watching from WMP10

Doesnt particularly bother me. As said, if it said 'Online, Watching XXX Horse Pron 14', then i'd be annoyed.
And it gave me a smile when i saw my Gamertag on one of the screenshots
