HEXUS IRC Gaming Channels

Seen as though you Idle for us NFF ill see what i can do bout jumpin in the CS one although i have to say that I will be nothing but Idle due to WoW hehe

These all work nicely with firefox + chatzilla plugin - cba testing with much else. xchat is a better but more complex client though.

#hexus.gaming - the general channel
#hexus.cs - the busiest channel
#hexus.bf2 - the channel I wish was busier since the game rocks so hard.
#hexus.dow - dawn of war - need I say more ?
#hexus.ut - unreal tourny
#hexus.wow - world of warcrack
#hexus.cod2 - call of duty2

I really don't see the point in maintaining other channels apart from hexus.cs and hexus.gaming.

The rest of them are usually either empty or have only 2 or 3 people, for the time being hexus.gaming is more than enough to cover everything else apart from cs.

I agree tbh. We tried to get people interested, but it's doesn't seem to have worked.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but the reason I personally don't play UT2004 on the Hexus servers is the fact that it is (or at least, was) always Deathmatch. Has it changed? If so, I might take another look!

Sorry - you did ask. I did have a look at doing it a while ago, but couldn't find out how, then it kind of got put to the bottom of my list of things to do. I'll email e-frag and get them to do it for me .

What do you want it on instead? Onslaught?

Any kind of team game would be fine, but I personally prefer Onslaught and Assault. I get the general feeling that Onslaught would be most popular.
