According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_DS_Lite, the European Launch of the DS lite is June 11 2006.

Not sure I can wait that long

Ah yes Forgot how close that was, these look really nice! Off to see now where I can preorder them from.

Aesthetics and gameplay, a winning combination!

I was thinking about selling my PSP. And then I bought Football Manager for it and haven't put it down since.

The simplicity of the PSP version vs. the PC version is actually an improvement, IMO. The PC version is stat overload for me.

If anyone wants to import the DS Lite, you can get it from:

    Yesasia

    lik-sang

(Make sure you get a power adapter though)

Not sure what this extra thing the japenese version has? I have also read that the touch screen on the Japenese version is better, this could be garbage though.

The Aus version is due out very soon and iirc that uses the same power adapter as we do, might even drop the price as well.

If it's a gadget you're looking for then I'd say the PSP. That is a masterpiece for entertainment on the move. For music and video, the DS can't really compete. However, for a device to entertain you during those commutes to work, I'd defintely consider a DS. The sheer amount of cool pick up and play games will provide you with loads of fun.

In short, if it's music you're gonna be doing more of, then PSP. Otherwise, the DS is a great alternative.

Why not wait till the DS Lite comes out and pick up a cheap old DS and have both for alternate days. Heehee.

    how about, neither.......

the i would personally go for a GPX2, mainly because it has loads of games avaliable for it, they are called emulators....
