Good game

hi there

i have to say i love the actual concept of the game,gorgeuos visuals and the car handlings nice too (i have no problems at all with my ps2 anologue pad and converter) but i do have a few issues with it which im sorely dissapointed with
for egsample the fact that the resolution stays @ 800by600 in everythin until u start a game (why couldnt they have just been normal like most decent games developers and had the hole game display in whatever res it supports,menus and all) another issue i cant stand is that theres no support for a higher resolution than 1280by1024 (why?)
also i have a couple of bugs too 1 of which alot of pc gamers with this game seem to be suffering is the eratic fps bug (the game will run silky smooth and then stutter for a split second for no apparent reason every ten or so seconds,it seems alot of games by ea have this issue to some degree (generals/zerohour for eg)
and finally i donno bout any1 else but i also have a glitch with the skid marks ingame where they seem to apear in mid air (not all the skidmarks,but its quite noticeable when its happening at every corner etc where the skidmarks will rise up from the road and over ure car ) and climb towards the sky instead of staying stuck on the road,ive tried 4 different drivers and i cant get ridov it so im "assuming" its in the game any1 else seen this?

all in all tho if these silly little issues could be fixed this could quite easily take the crown for best pc racer available today imho,the fact that its multiplayer sells it alone i think!

gotta say i prefer burnout 2 over nfs: underground, plays better and is generally more fun in my opinion

Burnout 2 is fun, Vroom Vroom NOS SMASH!!!
But the modding on NFS adds unique car styles to everyones visual preference.

Well - Finished this game weeks ago now ... I know people are starting to buy it now, I might simply for online play depending on how good it is (I'll have to try round m8s house as mine doesn't have multiplayer ... it was an early version).

Anyone start to use online? - whats it like?

like most other online games, good apart from cheaters. and the gay menu system to support ps2 nubs

i also have a glitch with the skid marks ingame where they seem to apear in mid air

got this too on my computer (geforce4ti, dunno if that makes a difference) its a bit wierd, but you get used to it... doesnt happen all the time - ie havent really noticed it in drift, but always notice in the circuit-type racing...

This game is way too addictive. Just switched form a Civic to a Miata. Wow ! That lil toy can drift ! Can't wait to unlock the Skyline though !

aslong as it not a custom or manu 1, u hover mouse over vinyl till it flashes, then click vynl color

Wicked game, first ive properly enjoyed for a while. Completed it in three nites, tempted to play it over again. The ony lame thing about it is when you finish you can change you car anymore!

M8 - READ and listen to what it says, you can now go to the Quick race mode, have all cars, visual and performance addons FOR FREE and play ANY race again!
