    Oblivion for PS3 and PSP!

Oblivion is making it's way across onto the PS3 at launch and also the PSP according to this official press release. Looks like it's going to contain a few new things compared to the PC/X360 version judging by these screenies, but I imagine Beth will release them as DLC's for those. It's also got a new faction that's a 'good' equivalent to the Dark Brotherhood.

ye lol at oblivion on PSP... can anyone say lag?
PS3 won't exceed X360s graphics in the game, its simply not possible on its current spec.

it will be interesting to see what the elder scrolls game will contain on the PSP, and also what the graphics will be like, shame about the battery life as you couldn't play for 6-8 hours in one go, as with games like that they need to be played like that.

Im not sure how much Im meant to say but I've been with the studio developing Oblivion for the PSP and I think it will work pretty well. You do get a lot of funny stares when you tell people about the project but it will be modified and optimised to stop any lagging.

I am in the camp though where I can't see the point in playing it on anything other than the XBox 360. It goes without saying it will be a diluted version on the PSP and it would have to have a shed load of extra features for me to shell out on the PS3 version.

What I can't get my head around is how Oblivion failed to pick up any BAFTA's the other night. In my mind it has been the best game to come along in a long time - only gripe has to be the constant loading when entering buildings/going through gates.
