gamershell have reported it to, will be released tomorrow according to ubi, but cant' find any mention of it on their sites or crymod website..........so i'll belive it's release when i see it as it seems like we've been waiting since the dawn of time for it, and maybe it'll become more enjoyable again...........
maybe the DX9 showcase game is getting a DX10 makeover ?
Excellent - and rather timely. I was ill over weekend and the missus was away visiting relatives in Wales so I decided to play through Far Cry again. Really good game and it still looks pretty to this date with HDR turned on. I heard that this is going to be the final patch release for Far Cry though.

OMG, that is unbelievable. Still releasing MP upgrades 2 and a half years after release. I didn't realise that FC was that big in the MP world.
me neither. Crytek themselves dont like the multiplayer in far cry (from an interview about Crysis, cant find it atm)

Yup - a little surprised myself, in a good way though. That has to be some real product support there. EA would do well to learn a thing or two from Crytek/Ubisoft.
EDIT - The download is now up on GamersHell - http://www.gamershell.com/news/33253.html

love this game
looks like i know what ill be downloading when i get home...
Download just finished, now i need to find my dvd disc
Yeah - I have to say that I agree. Im playing through the game again currently (im up to 'Boat' now) and I much prefer the guerilla tactics employed fighting the mercs over killing the silly monsters. Still, its a really good game, has stood the test of time well and still looks really nice even now with HDR, huge draw distances and lovely vistas. Kind of re-ignites my interest in Crysis.
