    worse game?

    It had the most balanced of sides.

    In Red alert and Yuri's, the Americans dominated - 5 Prism tanks and 5 rocketeers and you've won the game.

    Generals is equally unbalanced

    Its hardly balanced (Tiberiun sun)

    Gens is balanced, should play a decent game, u wud see...we play as all 3 and do equally well

    GLA forever,

    Tiberian sun was off the wall, reminded me more of starcraft than anythign else !!
    But gens is very good if u master a country and have a few mates to play with.

    Actually, although i didn't play it much i thought that Tiberium Sun was quite good (I played about 5 missions of the single player campaign) - lots of variation of Infantry made it much more interesting battles than Red Alert 2 (Both sides only get 2 variations of standard foot soldier (GI, Rocket Trooper, Conscript and Flak Trooper), and there are no medics so healing your units is impossible without a tech hospital. I image Generals also forgoes medics, but if aircraft play a greater part I'm happy!

    I loved tiberian sun but it was not mat all balanced. 20 nod artillery tanks gave you impenertrable base another 20 would crush your enemy

    USA can heal infantry by a unit from the war factory.

    No game can be perfectly balanced, but i think generals does quite well on the whole

    USA seriously need more anti Air units though. Only the Humvee with the upgrade can shoot at them tank / vehicle wise.
    They also have no really effective anti personal vehicles, which is equally as annoying.

    ITs not weak, cos the infantry can't get close enough to take it out. Fill it with rocket men and its great as AA

    Yeh, America has the SAm site network > all other AA for base defense.
    GLA has too so many anthraxable units its a good job that only they have it
    but China are the typical bit of everythign class for this mumma of a game.

    I beg to differ, China's later economy sucks... hackers are so easy to kill and u have to build barracks to produce them, where as USA and GLA just have to build structures!

    True, but the way you build hackers cash-flow really isnt a problem in the later stages

    speaking of Humvees, as a matter of fact i like to put 1 Pathfinder + 4 rocketmen in a Humvee, put about 5 of them together and the only things that can get close are planes, as long as you us waypoints correctly

    yea thats a cool way of grouping stuff, i do that sometimes. Works so well if you use bombers to take out power just before you attack, then send those in after...nothing can stop them
