How do you do waypoints in Generals... i ermm *ahem* lost my manual. I thought it would be shift click like all other WW/EA games.
Also is there a "return to base / retreat" button ?

I dont think there is a reurn to base button, thats dune init? As for waypoints, i think its ctrl or something. I did actually buy the game, but i cba 2 find the manual atm.

lol waypoints is click on the warfactory or whatever, then click where u want them x-)
retreat... nah the usa would go in balls first to a meatgrinder, no need for one.

I received a hefty beating at this game the other night... opens ones eyes.

Yes, and coming from a Dune background of 10+ years, i find this essential

Dune 2 was a good game. The follow up sucked a bit tho.

And dammit can't ppl b more sensible on the gens multiplayer?

Btw, anyone know of a way you can watch the gens replays form outside the game?

Cos its well annoying having to sit through the whole replay, i need a ff button

Couldn't you do a macro or something, so that when you have units selected, it automatically presses the 'H' button and clicks in the middle of your base for a speedy retreat?

Just a suggestion, i don't have a clue how to make macros or program anything else for that matter

you hold ALT or CRTL (one of them is waypoints and one is Force attack - you'll see difference the waypoint one is a small yellow cross) then you click your first waypoint, then your next, and so on then release and the units move

Very few cheats work in 1.06 now.
I know there is a few out there, but its nothing on what was present with previous patchs.

more along the lines of u specify a server stating no rush no sw,
then they proceed to spam up 4sw and send everything they built in over to you in the first 10 mins of the game...

sux
