The HD DVD drive is NOT region coded, this region comes from the Xbox itself as with standard DVDs. No HDDVD discs are region coded as of yet

Gamestation clearly offer HD-DVDs for sale around here, decent selection too, displayed with the 360s. Not even sure if they have any 360 Players in stock!
