    Crawlies in the bathroom?

What a lazy boy I am, had crawlies for about 3/4 months now and I've always said 'ill ask on the forums'... Well, It looks as though I've just got round to it.

We have small, miniscule, crawlies in our bathroom.

They seem to start off small and almost transparent, then grow and get darker and eventually develop wings (I think, unless we have a mixture of these things!)

I presume its something to do with the damp/air. Our bathroom doesnt have a window and only a small vent, we almost always shower with the door open aswell, anyone got any ideas what these crawlies might be, where they've come from and why and how to rid ourselves of them?

I wouldn't call it an infestation, but, there's usually a couple more the day after I exterminate the previous.

    Scientific names? Clues? Cures?

    Any info would be great!

Not a clue myself, but I'm guessing everyone will ask for pics, otherwise it may be quite hard to identify them

They dont resemble baby Armadillos do they ? There is an insect which i only know as a 'dampness bug' and as the name suggests thats why you have got them.

Borrow a better camera? Joking not much help but we useed to have a problem with ants in the bathroom in my old house.

There were the ordinary ants and there were the large rather stocky ones, that had wings.

I think a quick call to Rentokil or the like could be in order?

Any form of Antibacterial spray usually works well on bugs, mostly of the flying variety. Or maybe just make more of an effort to keep the room dry, open the window after showering, put in a fan-heater, etc?

They are just dampness bugs , silverfish are something different altogether , being more like a centipede type of thing , and fast. As far as i know these bugs you have are just because of the damp atmosphere , dont know how you would get rid of them , but if it makes you feel better they are harmless
