Virgin cable problems in Rugby

Anyone else in Rugby/surrounding area having problems with the cable?

We just lost all our TV channels, including the analogue pass-through for 1-5. Phone and (obviously) broadband are still working.

(We paid the bill, and didn't mention going to Sky at all )

Apparently the "whole computer system" at the helpful broken English call centre is down

They are doing some kind of big overhaul this week, the service here has been on and off, they might be getting ready for the free upgrades.

I know there's a week of scheduled maintenance for the broadband on the VM website. Are you talking TV or broadband? Still, the guy on the end of the phone could barely understand what we were saying. Not his fault, but none too helpful.

The upgrades I mean are the broadband, I cant remember the details but it was something like, 3mb will = 10mb, 10mb will = 20mb..that kind of thing.

They've just said the entire TV network is down nationwide. Still, got the cricket on BBC videocast, shame my wireless keeps dropping to 24Mbps

Yeah, I got a letter a few weeks ago. I think it came with the 3rd final reminder after I had paid the bill.
