Help with my sore throat :(.

I have a sort of sore throat, it hurts when I swallow saliva but not food drink.

Also the hole left side of my mouth/teeth hurts. I cant open my mouth properly because theres a big pain meaning that I cant eat!

Anything I can do? Went to the pharmarcist who said I needed 2x Paracetamol to numb the pain.

I dont want to go hospital for a sore throat, but it is really really hurting.

Well on the left side of my mouth it does seem a little swollen. Not from the outside...but I can feel it.

NHS direct it, I was gonna say if one side of your face is really swollen up and you've got a nasty sore throat with a temprature and headache it might have been mumps.

Its going around says my GP, Im just healing from it. Glandular Fever apparently.

The best thing for it is 300mg dispersible aspirin, put it in water, gargle for a few seconds and swallow.

I will put money on it being an abcess, off to the doctors or dentist for you , get some antibiotics.

I had something like this a while back, turns out it was an infection under my tooth, and it hurts like anything.

You need to get yourself checked out by a Doctor if you're in so much pain you can't eat.

Hospital is overkill, but there might be a drop-in centre that you can go to instead?

(Only time you'll find me in hospital is when I'm short circuiting, running a heart rate of about 180-200bpm )

Just to update.

Had 2x Paracetamol every 4hours like the pharmarcist said, help immensly and now I feel much better. I still look like someone is stabbing my eye when I eat but I can eat!

paracetamol will only help the pain though, not the cause of the problem, get to a doctor mate
