I'm not a fan of walking and hills together. especially when they are up-hills.

Apparently not.... these are completely sober "on the way to work" hills that are uphill both ways.

Nope, only occurs when i am walking to work, i swear its uphill there and back

on a similar vein, does everyone take a different route to a place than they do when returning?

I take a different way too work then i do when coming home. This actually has nothing to do with traffic or one way systems either.

When walking into town i also take a diffenent route than when walking out of town.

For work - no... but then there isn't much choice in that.

Actually, I tend to go the same way to places as i go back, especially when I don't have my tomtom with me.

(I drive by landmarks, so if they get changed I get lost. They keep cutting trees down on roundabouts in MK, so it's getting very confusing)
