I'm God, I Win, so no
whatever Godwins law is....
NEIN !!!!!Godwin's Law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies[1]) is an adage that Mike Godwin formulated in 1990. The law states:
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.[2]
Godwin's law is where the probability of an online thread reaching the point of Nazi/Hitler comparison's becomes equal to 1.
This thread is greater than the Nazi regime so therefore no we won't let it happen.
Well done Flake... fantastic response there.
Feisty 1 - 0 Godwin.
Anyone else got sore eyes today? I don't get hayfever (that I know of).

Surely there is a lot of stuff you do TIgs that could be done by working at home?
Once we get our CRM system running at work i'm going to ask if i can do some data input from home as opposed to being in the office.
There is a huge amount of my work that could be done from home... like all the stuff that I'm doing this week... but alas... I'm a support desk all by myself, so I have to be here to answer the phones.
1 Site written, 2 to go by friday.
Phones can be diverted

You should see some of the very cool VoIP kit from Cisco, saw a demo a couple of weeks ago. In theory you could have a Nokia E series phone that would act as your local extension over wireless when in the office or at home and then works over GSM while out and about. The Cisco hardware and software VoIP phones were pretty cool too, very customisable with XML and fully standards compliant.
Perhaps in a few years we could justify doing some of that stuff
It's talking the archaic management into trusting us to work from home first... they're a bit backwards here.
I can access everything I need to access at home, so there isn't any reason I couldn't apart from Management don't allow it.
Perhaps they will get the idea eventually.
I hope so, would save me £100 a week and 3 hours of time!
I am the same. I only have meetings on Fridays, so I don't need to be here any other day; and I don't need to wear this damned tie.
I'm going to be working in the Hague for two weeks in July. Maybe I can do that from home.

I couldn't, my wife is probably in it. Would be nice though.

I could work from my bed too... The joys of a laptop and wireless and having most of my work done online!
Would just have to install Dreamweaver, Photochop, Flash and Firefox on it first...
