The true satisfaction and amusement factor for me comes from the Meets that I spend my time organising, when I get to meet these people IRL! (Gasp!) I've not met any Hexite that I've taken a dislike to yet, they're all really sound people.

One persons waste of time, is anothers light relief from a day of boredom.

All down to personal opinion at the end of the day.

P.S the next meet is in Bristol. 19th May!

I don't so much want the silly threads, but at the same time I'm not against them. I just don't really like the "YOU WASTED X SECONDS OF MY LIFE" responses, it's quite clear when something is serious or not and its not like anyone is forced to follow every link.

I do agree that there has been more flaming as mentioned above, SA forums style. That's not how we do it here. i hate to say it, but how many SECONDS OF YOUR LIFE did you waste typing that drivel where you could be contributing in a more friendly manner.

I don't get why you would want silly threads, i cant think of any off the top of my head however i do know what kind your talking about i think, and they just seem a waste of space.

I would say we want them because they are fun! Maybe we sometimes just want to cling on to our childhood and be immature for the hell of it, not everyone wants a serious discussion all of the time, and when you're stressed it's good (imo) to just have a stupid random thread that, as you say, is a waste of space, to make you laugh.

Just my opinion of course but give me a stupid random thread over a serious thread any day

I think it's heated up a little because of the subjects.
