Another one for tescos as its the nearest. I would go to whatever is nearest. If there was a choice I have no idea.
By the way Allied bakeries which makes kingsmill makes tescos own brand bread. The finest stuff is made by fine lady bakeries .
Keep your eyes open, Zak. They're on a store-buying spree, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. They're still small compared big chains (especially as you get further north), but that is definitely a target area.
And of those listed, they're my favourite by as large margin.
As for Morrisons, they're not bad for some things, but not in the same league (IMHO) as Waitrose.
If i wasnt put on a strict £40 food budget by my other half (who, to be fair, pays for it) I'd gladly do all my food shopping in M&S. I'm not that stingy really, I just like to get as much for my £40 as possible, yet still have a healthy diet. However, if i shopped in M&S, i'd end up buying loads of ready meals, and we just don't do ready meals.
That actually made me spill my drink, there was I guy I used to work with who ate those for lunch, 4 days a week! He was so proud of the money he was saving, so proud he never noticed his perptual cold he had.
On Friday he would have 4 pints, wipe out the saving on Fried Chicken or pizza. Yes he was very healthy!
Tescos for me mainly because of the 10% staff discount.
My gf is determined I work for the devil.
the secret of cheap super noodles is to cook as normal then switch to a frying pan, break an egg into it, then a splash of soy sauce at the end.
pretty much special-fried noodles if such a thing existed.

Quality meats & veg.
Never any long queues
Never very busy...

tescos for me, as there are two (one of them is an "extra") near me, one which is right beside the hockey pitch i play on so it gets used a lot for drinks and snacks
anything else is a lot further away.
on the subject of supermarkets.... did i just imagine it or did M&S used to have an online delivery food shop thingy? I swear i remember someone buying m&S food online a few years ago, but it seems to be no longer!
i go to tesco simply because its nearer, if i had my choice id go there or asda

Sainsburys. I boycott Asda after seeing the documentary about parent company Walmart.
I shop more at Morrisons, cos it's closer (sort of), Sainsburys is just round the corner from Morrisons, but Morrisons always has a better variety/always has what I want in, I only buy alcohol tho, my parents do the main shopping
