To any of you who are interested, Morgan Stanley decided to give me a platinum card in the end, without any fuss and a nice credit limit. Guess I must have a good credit score... I'll be sure to take your advice and pay it off every month!

Well done! Well, maybe I should give it a shot coming September. It's been over a year (maybe two) since I applied, and last time my card had only had a limit of £1000 or something.

[Basically, I never used my card and had little credit history - these days I buy almost anything that does not have a credit card surcharge and pay back everything proper]

Most money I use on my plastic is my tuition fee and accommodation (8K a year), which have something like 1.5% CC surcharge, I just use my debit for that. Don't feel the need to get one, but everyone keep telling me I should get one just to build up some credit history :S
