Dodgy DVD off ebay

What worries me now though is if somehow he really didn't mean to sell an illegitimate copy. Perhaps I'm just being naive, but I wouldn't have scrutinised it as much if he hadn't said anything before it was sent. Surely, if his aim was to make money, then he wouldn't have said anything at all.

I've also got a full refund now, and he's just said to bin the DVD, which I would be surprised about if he wanted to sell it on again.

Lastly, pretty much all his feedback is positive, and the 2 that aren't (one neutral and one negative) are not about DVDs.

Maybe it's his politeness and seemingly willingness to get it sorted properly that's got me confused, but I don't see how he can be dodgy after all he's sold and all he's done...

but what does a dvdr a box and cover cost? almost nothing maybe quid/quid 50 so even p&p will be about 50p

so say you payed 7quid for it thats 5quid profit

Sounds like the seller is just a decent guy who wants to do the right thing by you. Perhaps he got ripped himself on these DVDS and genuinely didn't realise until he sold it to you.

He's obviously trying out a new business venture and checking how authentic the finished product is, he doesent want you to send it back because you can phone "da poliiiice".
