You may laugh but my other half has worn short white skirt with wellies. I have a photo somewhere, it is well funny. Currently I am debabting whether to upload it or not. She is 18,000 miles away and I still don't feel safe!!

Deffo field mouse btw, I have three or four nests in my back hedge. Lovely little critters but woe betide em if they dig nesting holes in my lawn !!

I have to concur with it being a field/wood mouse. Makes a change to see a whole one! Usually see them headless when my Dad's cats bring them in... If it's limping it probably managed to escape from a cat.

Agreed, apart from the last one I saw was only a "mousebum" once i'd wrestled it from my (dearly departed) little Samuel Slink.
