    divX invests in deviantART

I know a lot of folks on here are members of dA so I thought I'd post this here.

DeviantArt has raised $3.5 million in Series A funding, with DivX Inc. as a listed shareholder.

The money is apparently going into a brand new and desperately needed co-lo facility which has been described as 'nerd heaven'.

great news, anything to stop the site being so slow at certain times of the day.

Still in my opinion the best photo site on the net.

Yeah it's a great site, be far better once the 6-24 hours lag on all submission edit etc is gone
