    I agree....but a lot of people would also still use it - people complain about a lot of things about the company and OS (MS) but continue to use them.....I reckon they could sneak adverts in and the same would happen!

    I would try to not use any application that popped up ads under any circumstance, and even more so if I had paid for the software in the first place.

    If it comes attached to internet explorer, then its not a problem as I use Mozilla anyway.

    And this would involve sending data back to their servers, so if those servers are blocked off, then these ads shouldnt be able to pop up.
