i only know one joke about Jamaicans, its certainly not printable here, but it involves a girl called Wendy, a couple of Tattoos and the slogan WELCOME TO JAMAICA, HAVE A NICE DAY

i'm pretty sure some of you know it

and my workplace is considerably Lenient, when one of colleagues was late for a sales meeting late last month (asian chap), another colleague told my boss (in his presence) that it was because he was filling his Jeep Cherokee up with Gas and the store doesn't open till 9

the asian lad was laughing as much as anyone, its called being able to take a joke and he gives as good as he gets

Violence and Lubrication is the solution to fixing everything, if it still doesn't work, you need more lubrication.

Give him a badge that says - 'I am an Asian bloke, and I can take a joke and give as good as I get!' then everyone knows where they stand.

Dareos I believe that the trick is never to use an epithet to describe anyone. If you call someone a paki or ****** or frog or dago or whatever it is racist. If you call someone ginger, it's not. If you called a ginger bloke some recognised epithet associated with ginger people (carrot-top?) then you would be accused of 'racism'.

Refer to a person by their actual description and you are OK. The "immobile Mexican chap smoking a joint over there" is OK, "the lazy, stoner spic" is not.

So calling a person ginger is OK, even 'flame-haired temptress' for a ginger girl is OK.

It also appears that joking about any attribute is not OK, but I haven't worked that out yet.

Surely "ginger" is the derogatory term though? "Red-head" or "Red-haired" being the ordinary terms?
