Consider what else you could buy with the money and the DeLorean looks a real wastre of money. A good one goes for $42,000 in the US (that's about 40 quid) and you can get a passable Ferrari for that.

Trouble is, you need that to be able to afford it - which of course will create a time paradox, the result of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space-time continuum and destroy the entire universe!
Can you imagine trying to use one in your day to day life though? How many times do you park up somewhere and have plenty of space to open your doors to get out? Imagine doing the same on a busy road?
Plus you'd look like a complete idiot.
