Any chance of a response over what happened to all the competitions?

    Dear Hexus Staff,
Any chance we could have a formal comment on what happened to all the major competitions?

A non exhaustive list is below:

    Inno3D iChiLL 8600GTS XStriker3
    MASSIVE R600 giveaway!
    HIS Competition
    The ECS New Year Competition!

There are many competitions where a winner has not been announced!

Now if they are set-up to simply attract visitors that's fine, but can you let us know

    Thanks,
    Leon

Maybe better in the suggestions forum? But agreed -the Armari one for eg. is now over a year old.

I know most of them don't offer alternative prizes, but I'd still like to know if any sponser failed to live up to their promise.

The competitions are an issue we need to address, with everything else we have going on the administration process required for it is just causing us major issues when we have other major events/projects happening.

As a result I can tell you we are playing catch up and can only apologise for the delay.

The iChill one will be picked this week, the R600 and the HIS competitions have already been picked and will shortly be forwarded to HIS to be dispatched.

If you haven't had an email from me recently in regards to this then you have been unsuccessful in winning a prize.

I beleive the ECS competition was run and the prizes sent out, although I can't confirm if an official announcement took place.

I can assure you though these are not just to attract visitors, these are genuine prizes and genuinely delivered (if a little late just lately for our liking). We also never EVER pass out ANY details to ANYONE - unlike some others.

Again apologies for our delays on this, when the entrants have been passed over to HIS we will be making the announcements.

    Matt.

Without doubt if a sponsor did fail to deliver we would let all know

We've got something really cool coming soon which makes all this easier
