Cadburys is not good chocolate. Yes i know people love it, but that doesn't make it good. It's waxy horrible stuff in my opinion. And only edibl when they do something to it, like fill it with something else. I really wouldn't thank you for a bar of dairy milk.
I like it but not as much as other 'real' choclate. Its good to expand your choccy horizons a bit. Lindt, Green and blacks and Thorntons are all great. Imo, Swiss and Belgian choclate is best. Swiss choclate especially, lights my candle

hehe nice analogy I agree too. I don't dislike it, but if I felt like some chocolate, I'd get some proper stuff. Even that galaxy chocolate is better. You can really tell the difference though if you ever buy someone a box of chocolates and end up eating them yourself You get what you pay for I suppose, cause a £10 box of choccies tastes 10 times better than a £1 slab of dairy milk or whatever.

Although I still like the odd normal one sometimes. I find fruit and nut turns a lowly dairy milk into something much nicer. I'm not a big choccy eater though, although I was once starving to death and someone happened to have a spare "Biscuit Boost" and it basically saved my life, so I'll never forget it, and at the time it was the best thing I had ever eaten, ever.

Re: The return of the Cadbury Wispa!

Well maybe not actually starving, I probably just missed breakfast or something. Although sometimes I miss dinner and breakfast and thats as close to starving as I hope to ever get.

Re: The return of the Cadbury Wispa!

Dark 'real' chocolate is evil, Dark Bounty being the exception that proves the rule.

Milk Chocolate, the pansy stuff, rocks

Nestle continue to destroy our national chocolate heritage and I dislike myself everytime I enjoy one of their bars. Forever tinkering with perfectly reasonable flavours.

I love Cabury stuff but I'll never forgive them for discontinuing Spiras. I still don't know how, what amounted to two twisted sticks of Dairy Milk, tasted sooo good. It was terrible VFM but I could eat them every meal!

    Regardless WB Wispa!

I lived in Zurich before I moved to Brussels. God! I'm fat these days.

I have to say that I prefer Belgian on balance, but visiting a top chocolatier in Zurich is, for a chocoholic, a bit like being given the keys to the Farrari museum for a car lover. It's such an excess of excess that it takes on a majestic weight of excess. You cannot imagine ever being able to eat it all, but have to resist the urge to try.

Imagine your favourite three women, naked and covered in melted Cadbury's milk chocolate and it's still not as good as being in a real Swiss chocolate shop.

Re: The return of the Cadbury Wispa!

It may be chocolate to you, Steve, but to an unwitting member of staff this could look like some
sort of… dirty protest against the standard of service in the hotel, which I happen to think is very
good. I mean, it’s not five-star but it’s certainly competitive.

Mmm that sounds quite nice. As long as the caramel is thin though.

I'm just concerned that the new Wispa won't be *quite* as big as it used to (remember the Creme Eggs fiasco)

CDM with fruit and nuts or Toblerone are my choices for everyday munching - straight out of the fridge - but I also love the dark stuff of Lindt and Green & Black.
    Cheers, David
