I could have told you anyway. Was listening to the commentary and watching live timing of it (obviously not exclusively... I'm not that sad!). Wasn't a hard crash. Just deranged the left front and left rear suspension a bit. It was out on the track again within 2 hours.
It seems that every detail of the Top Gear crew's lives, and Hammond's in particular, is being catalogued now. If he falls over, chances are one of the tabloids will have it on their front page explaining how if he hadn't fallen over, the Great Auk would miraculously reappear.
//edit: bloody hell, it's currently seen as the 3rd most important news story in the UK according to the BBC site. Stop it... just stop it.

I had a day at Silverstone on the 31st of Aug - racing Exige's and Ferrari F360s (which was fine!), Clarkson was also there completing his endurance license...
