Ha - funny you should say that - i was in Brussels at the weekend and have to say both me and the missus was most unimpressed. Brugge was cool though.

To op - London is prob not the best place to come for Xmas to be honest - especially if its for shopping, it is crazy busy and of course extra expensive at that time of year.

well, we went to london the weekend just past, and it actually wasn't too busy, we didnt really do much shopping, but on saturday evening the picadilly line was abolutely packed... so we decided to avoid it... my gf has never been to london before so we did the touristy thing, went to see the sights... the ice skating at somerset house was great fun, went to it after going to see Phantom of the Opera, which was amazing, i'l stick some photos up later when i get home from work...

I used to go to Brussels to play footbal twice a year and none of us liked it.
The people were far from pleasant and there was a very funny smell similar to a sewer.

We all had enough and went to Holland to play instead for other years and that was a 1000 times better
