Good luck - remember to talk to the examiner - it shows confidence on the road.

Umm, why the hell don't we have that here? That's a fapping brilliant idea!!

We have lessons on how to learn in a car displaying red 'L' plates, then take a theory test and a practical test. Once we pass, you are supposed to wear green 'L' plates for 6 weeks/months (can't remember) but nobody ever does!

Over here it's theory, test then on the roads. L plates only apply before you have passed your test. We don't have the green L plate thing

I was the same as Cat woman. I failed 3 times, passed on the 4th. I mainly failed cuz of lack of confidence. I agree with David's comment. The time I passed I was much more confident, I felt much happier, and I chatted with the examiner much more.

As with most things in life the most important thing to do is practice, and be confident.

    Good luck.

Plus when you do pass it feels like the best thing in the world (Well it did for me cos it took me so bloody long!)
And after all, they say the best drivers dont pass 1st time!
