Ok lads, as im sure ur aware, buying pressies gf's is a mission. So need some help,
What i know so far;

- 80£ max
- She def wants jewelry
- Not gold
- White gold idealy
- I already bought her neckless last christmas
- She bought me a silver bracelet for my day with my initials on it (with undisclosed message under neath)

So any idea lads. Just saw this on amazon. Id rather buy from a shop, but this got my thinking(reminded me it was her bday)

You'd be hard pushed to find something nice in white gold for £80, so I'd say unless you're willing to pay a little more, stick to silver. If you did find something in 9ct white gold, I'd say try to get it in silver anyway. The silver will have a nicer colour tone.

www.silverado.co.uk have a nice selection, and are very reasonable. I've bought the wife a few pairs of earrings from there.

www.stepheneinhorn.co.uk are also excellent, but a little more pricey. I had the wife's engagement ring and wedding pearls custom made by them and they were always top notch and on time. While you have to have a £300 minimum to spend on bespoke jewellery, they have some nice items in their regular stock.

I'd avoid white gold as it is just rhodium plated gold and you have to get it replated every so often.

I recommend something "Inspired by" a famous jeweller like Tiffany's.

If you look at this place http://www.overstockjeweler.com or http://www.evesaddiction.com they have copies of Tiffany and others without the logos and fake marks, so they are exactly the same as Tiffany's but cheaper by miles, and perfectly legal.

Also you are buying in Dollars, so in today's market you are like a squillionaire in poverty town.
