Nah, just Go, Wash & Go
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

    Re: New dairy milk advert

It's a great ad, nothing to do with chocolate and everytime I see it i dont associate it with chocolate and by the time it's done I dont even remember it's for chocolate but there you go at least everyone remembers something as weird as a drumming gorilla. It sticks in your head.

    Re: New dairy milk advert

Imagine the creatives coming up with and pitching the idea successfully. "We are close up on a gorilla, listening to Phil Collins and sitting behind a drum kit.."

Talk about out of the box thinking, out of the skull more like!

    Silly but amusing advert.

Gorilla -> King Kong -> Weta Workshop

I'd love to see Sméagol doing that advert ... banging the drums with a slippery fish ... equally silly but potentially hilarious

    Re: New dairy milk advert

My guess would be that this was produced "on spec" as a generic advert and sold to the highest bidder. This would explain why it doesn't show chocolate or cars or toilet paper.

It's a bit like those really clever videos you see with heavy metal music on the Kerrang! channel. The ones that don't quite fit the music. Anyone remember the little running away guy video from Bloodwork? That was made on spec, Bloodwork bought it and played they music behind it.

I'll bet this was something similar.

I read in the metro that it's by the same guy who's done the Sony Ads... Whether it was specifically created for them or as above was generic I'm not sure.

    Re: New dairy milk advert

Well, it kinda associates itself with Cadbury's in that most of the set is done in their brand of purple, first time I saw it I knew it was for chocolate purely because of that tbh.

there's probably a subliminal message hidden in the track and the advert's designed to just draw attention

Yeah, I noticed the Cadbury's style purple too...

Anyway, it'll probably turn out to be some plagiarised version of an obscure art student's video ala Guinness (allegedly!)

    Re: New dairy milk advert

That's a brilliant ad... shame they've cut it down now though

Anyone else seen the PG tips ad? with the box of tea bags rotating on a plate and a Jonny Vegas like voice talking in the style of the bird in the Marks and Sparks ads, and the PG tips Chimp bobbing up and down in the background, only ever seen it once and it was hilarious
