Oh to be a fly on the wall.....
correction of your assumption: He speaks to pretty much everyone on the planet. He wants everyone on the planet. The problem is, as is the history of humanity, very few people want to hear what He is saying.
For the record, Muslims do not have a personal god, their god has no declared interest in humanity, and their salvation is on a whim. Humanity exists purely to submit to 'him'. Their god is not my God. At all. Logical really - there are major contradictions between the Christian and the Muslim God - how could they be the same?

Let's be clear, I have zero tolerance for Islam, for Hinduism, Buddhism, Mormonism, Confucionism, Taoism, Atheism, Sufism and whatever other 'ism' claims to be the truth. After all, how could I? Those beliefs stand in direct contradiction to mine - most importantly, they do not recognise Christ as God.

However, let's also be clear, I have great tolerance for the people who practice those faiths. There is an absolute and clear distinction between the belief system and its practitioners.

My argument is not with the people, it is with the beliefs/scriptures/explanations for the universe etc. I reject them; I do not reject the believers.

I don't believe you're a hypocrite for celebrating Christmas, after all, it was most probably your 'rents who got you into the whole thing in the first place. What's important to Christians is why they are celebrating Christmas. Sure, it was stolen from a pagan holiday, that doesn't make it void though. I do find it interesting how intolerable atheistic fundamentalists enjoy the celebration of Christmas inclusive of all the Christian tradition, however.

What's important to me about Christmas is the celebration of Jesus coming into the world. If that's not what's important to you, then so be it, although it's no reason to flame me, I have my thing, you have yours and it's not my job to condemn those who celebrate Christmas for other purposes.

    I noted that.

There are some other great ideas here Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

Right, now that my New Year's resolution is to become a intolerable fundamentalist militant atheist I'm off to burn down some churches and kick some puppies that children got for Christmas. Now where did I put that can of petrol.....
