    Boobytrap it?

Hide a car battery in the airing cupboard and wire it to it, so anyone trying to fiddle gets a nasty surprise

Tell them not to. On fear of death ?

More seriously, why are they changing it in the first place?

Re: Drayton heating thermostrat - lock?

Because they are old, it is common knowledge do what ever they want, don't give hoot what people think, and if you challenge them....they bore you to tears with stories that start as "when i was a young 'un...." or "During the war......"

Just buy like a padlocked 'gate' but obviously alot smaller. and put it over it, then padlock it...

Like that, and then hide the key

Stick some wires coming from the bottom and stick a sign nearby saying " WARNING - LIVE CABLES Danger of death "

    FUD should work
