No pets, and until they start breeding dogs that stay puppies and die after 12 months, there won't be in this house. My parents have two dogs and two cats, and they're just fed up with not being able to go away for any length of time and can't afford to put them up in kennels when they go.
Animals live a looooong time. I've already got kids, and at least I can take them on holiday with me.

We've got a cat here which we adopted when the owners moved to Australia, called Morgan - she's a very cool cat.
We also got given a fairly large fish tank that only has a few fish in it at the moment.
I've got me a hamster called Max, who is almost 3 years old now - he'd done very well in lifespan so far I think.
And I've recently got a Leopard Gecko from a friend who moved into a flat with a no pets rule!
So plenty animal activity here!

Kitten's best friend is the Dog, and I swear to god She thinks She is a German Shepherd, Dog is just confused and the older Cat is just grumpy.

A kitten who's 12 weeks old today
They're at my parents but, 3 sheep dogs (collies) 1 little terrier cross type thing and several hundred sheepnot really pets although some are really friendly

1 ex-stray cat, 1 tortoise and 1 terrapin both of which were 'inherited' when the in-laws moved to Cyprus... Possibly another ex-stray cat soon as we took one into the local vets recently and no-one's been to pick her up. Agree that having a cat can be a PITA when you want to go away. Especially one that's got health problems. The tortoise is less interesting than having a pet brick (vegetarians!), and while the terrapin has some personality it's a bit of a PITA to maintain (cleaning the poo and food clogged filter on a weekly basis gets old fast)... Sigh... SWMBO... Sigh...
2 Very lazy cats. 1 Persian and 1 Exotic. Both are a pain arse at times but worth it
