Its blatantly a joke anyway, ipod touch would be worth as much as a turd by the time she dies (if its 5+ years)

well, i wouldnt cry, lets put it that way!
shes in a position where she could pay someone to lock her in a rehab centre and not let her leave until shes gone cold turkey and is clean, my sister is a heroin addict and although she seems to refuse to help herself, she cries out for something or someplace she could go and if me or my family could afford it, we'd take her away from this rubbish town where drugs are everywhere.
amy winehouse is far too cool for that and would rather record herself saying no no no. I'd laugh in her face as she overdosed.
Geez Jimmy, it's not all about the money is it?
I think your sister's cry for help is one you must answer - you're her best hope for beating drugs not some expensive rehab centre. I hope she is ok, really I do.
I don't think Amy Winehouse thinks she's cool; she seems desperately unhappy to me. Her album, Back to Black, reflects her emotions and is the first thing in music for years to make me take notice. Guys - have you actually listened to it?
I can't understand why anyone would wish to see another person die. Sometimes celebrities become people we think we know. I suspect if you got to know Amy Winehouse your view of her would change.
But is she someone that you'd want to get to know? I wouldn't, that I know.
If she's a druggie, then she's a druggie, it's her own stupid fault, and now only she can decide whether to quit. I only hope she hurries up one way or the other, it's just too damn annoying seeing her in the papers every other day.
Yes I would like to get to know her. I like getting to know people to form my own opinion. It's not her fault she's in the papers every other day; let's not blame her for that!
Being a druggie may seem stupid on the face of it. I think we would be stupid if we didn't ask ourselves why people are druggies. Life tests people. For the druggie, their habit is their refuge; for those of us who aren't, it perhaps tests our compassion.
Underneath the drugs, tattoos and swearing (and vocal gift) is a 24 year old girl. You don't really want her to come to harm for living her life in public do you? I don't.
You are, quite probably, one of the few people who sees the good in everyone. And yes, she's not entirely to blame, the media plays more than it's fair share too. But you have to admit, being in the public eye is a very bad place for things like this, as a talented young woman, she will be a role model for many impressionable young girls - not the best of role models though, is she? I know there are others too, but Amy is one of the bigger ones of today.
You're probably right. I can even see the good in SiM and JimmyBoy (who shows compassion for his sister in his post earlier). Point taken on the role model thing; not sure there is such a thing as the perfect role model. It's not really the premise for this thread though.
I feel sorry for anyone in such a drug addiction. if she dies its her mum who is left hurting.
Hang on.. are you Amy's PR guy in disguise? Or Amy herself? The truth comes out!
What you have to remember though, she'll never appeal to some people, because of her voice/appearance/music genre. That's just the way things are. Fans would probably have different views if she was, say, a classical artist rather than soul.
