Get said boobs out for photos.
    You're a model.
    Well said.

They seem to think that falling out of clubs at 2-4 am with their flanges hanging out is also part of the above career. What I want to know is why they seem to think that TANGO ORANGE is the colour we desire. I mean some of them look great with a little hint of tan, but some of them are so soaked in it they look like female umpa-loompa', especially if they go swimming and their blonde hair goes green.

Depends what people are buying. Are you buying a picture of a real person, or are you wanting some kind of idealised/fantasy version of the human form? If the former then go out and take photos of people in the real world, but a lot of people seem to enjoy surrealistic representations and so will buy that - after all, why are you looking at a picture of someone else in the first place?

Don't blame the suppliers, blame the market.

What I'm trying to say is as long as there is people buying the mags/papers with that rubbish in, those people will remain to fill the market.

    haha

Who starts a thread to complain there are not enough stretch marks in Nuts or FHM?

Marcos - just look at the pretty wimmins in the pictures, and read the funny stories.

Don't think about it too much.

With regards to the orange thing, perform a Google image search for "Guido" and laugh 'til a little bit of wee comes out.

For those that can't be bothered, it's a new fad hitting the US in which men (if you can call them that) orange themselves up and perform hideous pouting poses. What makes it funny is that they are all serious.

I don't think it's about stretch marks it's about anything being real on these women!
Trust me, as a decent level photochopper myself you can see what they've done 90% of the time.

IMO at least, blemish removal and a slight airbrush are fine, however they don't stop there - at all.
Teeth are brightened/changed, body shape is warped, it's just too far!

The funniest thing I've ever seen in my life was on a magazine like heat.

EDIT - I can't believe it, but I've found the image....

Someone tell me what the mistake is on this picture... WHICH IS ON THE FRONT OF HEAT.

Yes but this is not a passport photo, this is a pic in a lads mag.

Its fantasy, yes? Not reality... still with me?

Sposed to be touched up, because its for men to look at.

If you want real, take a camera around Sainsburys, snaping pics of the middle aged women buying cucumbers, and start your own niche mag.

So Stewart, to flip it around from me taking pictures of women buying cucumbers, this is like you buying a magazine full of CG women. After all, it's fantasy, not reality.

As a male who like to look at pictures of attractive women (don't we all) I want them to at least look how they actually look - look at the popularity of Page 3 idol for example.

You don't want me to start another poll do you?!

bazz in your av you have a pic if you and presumably your missus done insoft lighting etc. Is this not the same as touching up the creases as i dont see you putting a pic of you both after you drag yourselves from bed after a night on the razzle

Re: I'm going to go out on a limb and make a statement about photo touch-ups

To be fair, that one isn't of me and my missus, it was an assignment when I did a little bit of modelling, there's no photoshop used.

It is a realistic picture of me, abhiet, a good one (if you ever get a pro photog near you you'd be amazed how many pics they take!).

It's completely different to me making myself look bigger, more muscular, thinner or whatever.

Compare that, (decent lighting and a good picture) to this:

In which, they've not only photoshopped on his abs - but they've given him a noughts and crosses board on his chest.

You sound dangerously like you're saying the camera never lies!

The reason you take so many photos is that even with a film camera you can completely twist what is real. Depth of field, focus, lighting, zoom, exposure.. all can take a picture of someone quite some way from reality. Then again, so does make up.

I get what you're saying, and on a personal level I enjoy keeping even digital photos as close to 'real life' as I can.. but that's just something I like to do with my own photography. But I still believe with the kind of pictures you're talking about people do not want real life, otherwise they would not be looking in a magazine.
