Ive been there when a locksmiths got into a car for a girl, and he didnt ask for any id... particularly as it was inside the car...

Its down in the basement and very unlikely to be heard above the ground floor. Kicking it will be on CCTV and might lead to problems.

Its a bloody Vauxhall Vectra or something - probably not worth having an alarm in.

Or try and find a friend of a friend or whatever with a tow truck and tow it out of the way.
Then park your car in the space.

Park your car behind his. if he wants to park in your space, carry on parking where you normally do, just a little bit over the line.

Lads - by all means, have a laugh and a joke, but keep it legal
Suggestions about how to break into someone's car via using a locksmith are getting a bit close to the line.

Usually they can only do something e.g. move it (off a street) or its been abandoned for >3 months.
Same thing happened on a street kerb outside a friends house and the police refused to do anything till 3 months later...

they'd probably go and lay out some cones and barriers to 'prevent' them getting close enough to the car..

Re: Problem with parking - someone in my spot

So I take it that there isnt really much I can do ?

Maybe I could sue him for preventing me from enjoying my property and its full use, but that will probably be more hassle than its worth.

Re: Problem with parking - someone in my spot

If the notes are getting taken and ignored then unless the Building owners are willing to help there isnt much that can be done

YA could try finding the address of the owner then knocking on the door and talking to them. Might work but if they are the type to park in your space and ignor your notes it likely that they`ll be likely to tell you to do one.

Re: Problem with parking - someone in my spot

What i would do is leave a note on his windscreen clearly stating that if he parked in my space again, i would hunt him down like the ignorant chump he is, and set fire to him and his family.

    That should do the trick.
