Forget banning guns, make bullets cost $5000 each. That way people will think twice before going around wasting them on silly disputes and only use them when they really need to!

As far as I'm concerned the U.K. & U.S. have unhealthy attitudes to firearms. Both are too extreme; the answer lies somewhere in the middle. J.M.H.O.

I must say I'm pro gun, if it's done properly - the gun laws in New Jersey are very strict and done well *unfortunately people bring them in from other states.
Good idea banning hand guns from the UK, after all, 0 murders have ever been committed with legally owned handguns, and now our atheletes need to travel to France to train! Good thinking!

Not zero, Bazz; the handguns used at Dunblane were legally held. My beef is that if the law as it was then had been applied properly, there's no way in hell that they would have been.
