National drink.. Tea.
Best dunkable biscuit.. Rich Tea.
A partnership made in heaven!
I had to vote for other... and pledge my allegiance...
the the mighty Chocolate Hob Nobs
Ginger Nuts.
Or Fruit Shortcakes as a rank outsider.
Ginger nuts for sure, there best to dunk in a nice cup of tea.
I also like (but very rarely eat) those McVities Chocolate Caramel biscuits. About a million calories per bite, but very nice.
I don't eat many biscuits.
My life is, largely, a bleak, barren and joyless desert.
Mustn't grumble, though.
Voted Scottish Shortbread myself although being a porky I've not been known to turn down any biscuit other than ginger nuts
Another Scottish Shortbread here, I wouldn't have put it in with a poll of biscuits myself but as it's there it's just so good it gets my vote!
1.21 GIGAWATTS!!!!!
Can't believe people are voting for Jaffa Cakes when the pole is about biscuits... (even though they win out of the list, the best biscuit has to be the Hob Nob)
Can't believe Jaffa Cakes have been put in a pole for the best biscuit either...
PEOPLE, KNOW YOUR CONFECTIONERY!!
Without a doubt (but unfortunately you didn't list it).
At least I think it's British anyway...
With a French family surname...
someone has even wrote a wiki page on the bourbon,
ive never tried one because my Grandad told me they were french, and therefore a gateway biscuit to hardcore french biscuits like snail topped nice biscuits etc.
Bourbon biscuit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chocolate Malted Milk or Fig roll for me. Far better than any other biscuit imo
Thanks for the link (I was too lazy to bother searching about it myself though ).
I regularly buy about 7 packets of Smartprice bourbons at a time (what with them being about 13p per packet), and they last me a good while (and as far as I can tell, don't taste any different to more expensive bourbon biscuits).
Interesting (and rather unique) reason to have never tasted a bourbon though, but I would definitely recommend them
My favourite thing from the list is the jaffa cake but as others have said its not really a biscuit, so my vote is for the classic chocolate digestive
