Some areas are dangerous, no-go areas in fact (Due to gangs) but others are affluent, safe etc

As Rastaman pointed out, there are some unsavoury areas in London and probably in most towns and cities.

Having lived in LA I'd laugh at the suggestion that there are parts of London worse than areas like South Central & Watts. They might be bad in certain areas of the big smoke, but Watts is insane 24/7....
