I think we should all go back to a pure subsistence, no tool culture. If you want to plant crops you do it with your bare hands. If you want to till the soil you do it with your bare hands, no nasty steel/iron implements that were produced with burning charcoal which leads to GW. If you want to water those crops then you must carry the water in your bare hands or make mud channels with your hands, no use of artificial carriers. If it gets cold then don't light a fire, go and live closer to the equator, don't wear an extra manmade fibre jumper. Hell even wool is bad cos those nasty sheep fart and breath causing increased CO2 and you require energy to weave the wool. Otherwise go foraging. Oh and no killing animals neither!
Medicine - forget it pal, it's roots and berries for us all, don't worry about all those nasty diseases it's what nature and being natural and in harmony with the planet is all about. Damn those 'orrible pharmaceutical companies burning up the planet using fossil fuels and providing us with medicine and vaccines. Should banish the lot of them, a bit of polio/typhoid/smallpox etc never did anyone any harm did it?
If you can't get to a place without walking then don't go. Use a horse, pah! they pollute too don'tcha know and anyway horses have rights too!
Living like this instead of the rat race we are in will not only save the planet, but will also become the most wonderful utopian society ever conceived. Mankind living peacefully and in harmony with mother nature.
So if you are moaning about modern technology I suggest you do the above and go completely without it because progress is obviously evil.

I ain't trying to preach to anyone. But saying that global warming is a load of rubbish is just insane.
the effects pollution has on our enviroment is all around us.
In an area where Jogging or cycling can be more damaging for you because you take deeper breaths is not good. No way. In my mind, this is up there with passive smoking.
And in London you could easily do without traffic. You have the underground and probably still have other public transport.
