    Re: Scan is Great

wow some of you people are way to serious for your own good, Samcross you suit the second part of your name. At least Stevie Lee had the wit to recognise the real value of the post, even if its parcelled in a comical way.

To those that just dont understand my message........ SCAN ARE GREAT, free postage or not.

    Hugs and kisses

    Re: Scan is Great

PS if i had know that Scan had a section i may have indeed posted in there, but to be honest im sure the people that know a Scan section exist, probably know that Scan the PC company also exists and so im sure they dont need telling how Great Scan are. So i stand by my original inadvertent decision to post on the general forum thereby enabling my message to reach those poor unfortunate beings that havnt yet realise that Scan exists and indeed how great they are.

And also finally for those cynical people among you that think i only did this to scam free postage i say pah..... I live in Northern Ireland and so am not entitled to free delivery anyhow, 20 posts or not. Also in no way should this small oversight and discrimination by Scan affect peoples perception of Scans greatness, im sure its a minor oversite on their part and that they would not willingly or knowingly discriminate agianst 1.65 million British subjects.

    Re: Scan is Great

I got Scanned the other day. Buggers took all my sharp implements from me and told me not to run with scissors as I boarded the aircraft. Are the same people you champion responsible? I'd like to know cos if they are, I'm gonna send them a strongly worded electronic message!

I thought this was a wind up.. or a compliment.. or being nice to scan even.

    And it's a refferal?

    Re: Scan is Great

well the suck up didn't work.. wandered in and the young lad behind the collection desk didn't even know they had held a foxconn event. neither did the old dude..

very speedy service from older-than-me-dude on the counter - ordered 2 things - he even read one of the LN numbers upside down that I had scribbled on a tatty piece of paper.., 4 minutes later (it said 4 minutes on the handy time waiting board) and i had them..

and seriously.. a Volvo with gold subaru rims and a big ass spoiler! had to be one of the staffs cars, because me and my mate were the only customers in there at the time.

edit: might not have been a volvo - but it did look like one.
(don't know the peoples names because i didn't notice the name badges, or even if they were wearing any..)

    Re: Scan is Great

    righto,

This thread up to now was a bit of a giggle, a step away from the serious subjects like, "Harriet Harman what a C*&$" or "my HD went boing, plz help". But now comes the serious bit!

Phoned Scan on Monday past at 11 am and placed an order for components to build a pc from scratch. Spoke to Paul, mega helpful chap, he gave some good product advice and recomendations in a relaxed manner, I liked that it was a conversation to get me the best components for what i needed not just some dude taking an order as fast as he can and not giving a crap if im ordering rubbish or the wrong stuff for my needs. Cheers Paul, nice one mate.

Got a great price compared to other PC suppliers and got free postage to boot, huraaah for Hexus.

Items arrived the very next morning at 10:30 in good nick. My pall Acidrainy then got to the serious buiness of building my new gaming pc, Cheers Acid your a star!

A couple of hours later and hey presto im running Crysis and Bioshock on my new rig. Also COD4 now looks bueatiful!!!! so im dedicationg my first 100 kills to Scan,,,,,,,,, cause as the thread says..................SCAN ARE GREAT

Scan come up trumps in the servicing department
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.
