Got Steam on and games downloading, got drivers on and stuff, going to install and update COD4 and C&C Generals and hopefully UT2004 aswell

I have the UT 2004 and C&C patches with me, goign to try and get the others started over the night downloading

Ive still gotta hook my laptop up 2mrow and get Steam updating, as well as getting the newest c+c patch, as well as various others, then packing and cramming in a few hours sleep all coming off 2 night shifts!

I don't have anything patched from last time... apart from CoD needs patching to 1.7 again I think... Maybe not... can't remember now.

Gotta do all my packing when I gets home. Sleep was the order of the night last night.

Ok Windows Installed and patched, UT2k4, UT3, Q3A, Steam and COD4 installed and updated.

Wish I knew about the steam games, could have dc-ed in from work to start them downloading instead of turning off my pc, will just have to get a backup of them when I'm there

Well if they have internet at LAN then cant we just start the install on steam, kill the download and steam and overright the relevant files in the steam folder? thats all I do with my steam (overright the entire folder and it ust does some ickle patch and check and we are ready to go.)

The internet at teh LAN isn't the fastest though... you're better off doing it at home if you can.
