Well if they have internet at LAN then cant we just start the install on steam, kill the download and steam and overright the relevant files in the steam folder? thats all I do with my steam (overright the entire folder and it ust does some ickle patch and check and we are ready to go.)

Either way if someone has it we can 'back it up' to an SD card I'll bring (should be big enough) then just transfer it between computers to the right folder

EDIT: I'll have dawn of war, will have a load of other games, might bring some guitar hero games of the pc and my 360 controller

Just got back from town with CoD4 (and Gears2 ) in hand. Ill be bringing my external HDD along with me anyway so should have plenty of space to swap stuff around.

there is a large file server on site with most if not all of the patches needed and a boatload of drivers too. now should i bring my crysis wars disc. it does not need a cd-key for lan play Hmmm

But on the plus side, Tesco do sell plastic cups (think people said they didn't last time).
